NATO Advanced Research Workshop "Managing Terrorism Threats to Critical Infrastructure – Challenges for South Eastern Europe"

 

The Institute for Corporate Security Studies (ICS-Ljubljana), Slovenia and the Faculty of Applied Security, University EDUCONS, Sremska Kamenica, Vojvodina, Serbia organised a NATO Advanced Research Workshop "Managing Terrorism Threats to Critical Infrastructure – Challenges for South Eastern Europe" which was held in Belgrade, Serbia on 12 – 15 May, 2014 .

 


Successfully Completed NATO Advanced Research Workshop in Belgrade

 

We inform you that the Institute of Corporate Security Studies - ICS Ljubljana together with the University EDUCONS, Serbia successfully completed the NATO Advanced Research Workshop (ARW) entitled "Managing Terrorism Threats to Critical Infrastructures - Challenges for South Eastern Europe" wich was held from 12 - 15 May in Belgrade.

The conference was attended by over 50 invited experts that have come from the entire region of SE Europe. The conference was divided into three working days.  Each day offered a range of views on the managing terrorism threats regarding to Critical Infrastructures, which we have dealt through a variety of substantive panels.

On the third day NATO ARW concluded with the creation of different opinions and views in a joint report. In this context, the book entitled “Comprehensive Approach as "Sine Qua Non" for Critical Infrastructure Protection” was published. The book is the work of various authors - experts in the field of critical infrastructure, collected in the substantive chapters, edited by dr. Denis Čaleta and dr. Vesela Radović.
